SAWAKAS SHORTS | DOCUte is a film project of SAWAKAS composed of short nonfictional motion pictures intended to document some aspect of reality, primarily for the purposes of instruction, education, or maintaining a historical record.
DOCUte, a coined term for DOCUMENTARY and CUTE, is a SAWAKAS new advocacy drive for young filmmakers; this drive will be described as a "filmmaking practice, a cinematic tradition, and mode of audience reception" that is continually evolving and is without clear boundaries.
